PROJECT
On a Limb has finished their debut song: "I'll Find My Way," which features the band members - Harpist Maddie P., vocalist Anna S., and guitarist/ lyricist Sabrina P. - and upright bass accompaniment by Travis Werling. These three girls from the PIttsburgh area have successfully fuzed thier own ecclectic backgrounds into music that could be best described as "rock with a harp."
BIOS
Anna is the oldest member of the group, at age 26. She holds a BA in music and voice principla with a minor in sociology from Houghton College in Houghton, NY. She loves to lsiten to Sting, Coldplay, Enya, her mother's collection of world music and countless other variets of music.
Sabrina is the youngest member of "On a Limb." She is 17-years-old and is going into her senior year at Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Her major ther is straight theater. She has been influenced by the voice of Janis Joplin, the lyrics of Boby Dylan, and the music from her dad's harmonica. She flavors the group with her creative flair.
Maddie is Sabrinas cousin at age 19. She attends the University of Pittsburgh for biology and psychology. Although she is not continuing music through her studies, she is a member of the University's symphony as the sole harpist. She enjoys listening to a wide range of music, including (but not limited to) Evanescense, Natalie Merchant, the Goo Goo Dolls, Eric Clapton and Thrice. She is working on bringing her harp out of the classical genre and into a new beat.
