BIO

Describing the sound of the trio band Gun Show is an arduous task – the band members choose describe their music as classic post-punk indie, and compare themselves to the Ramones. The band was formed in late September 2005 between three brothers in New Hampshire. Jake Scarpino stars as lead singer and guitarist. His younger brother, Sam Scarpino, is the band’s bassist. And the oldest, Matt Scarpino, is the drummer, who derives his main influences from Kieth Moon, Bun E. Carlos, and Dennis Wilson. Both Jake and Matt take a hand in songwriting, which has been mainly influenced by their relocation to Upper Saint Clair (Pittsburgh), PA in July of 2006. Gun Show has appeared in Battle of the Bands across the Greater Pittsburgh Area and bars along the East Coast. The brothers have been busy recording and hope to release an EP album in the future.
